Hello!
I’m a British expatriate living in Tallinn and I speak some Russian and I am also learning Estonian.
I am a professional cellist and I have a bachelor’s degree from the Royal Northern College of Music and a master’s degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in the UK, where I also completed a year as a junior fellow. I have lived in Tallinn for a year and I perform regularly as a freelancer in Estonia, Finland, and the UK. I have over ten years of experience teaching the cello, from teaching children to teaching adults and from beginners to advanced, and I have taught both in schools and private tuition.
I teach mainly in English, and as a native English speaker I am also available to tutor English language, help with English schoolwork or preparation for English tests, or simply converse in English to help with speaking and understanding skills. I have experience with helping my Russian friends to improve their English and I have also proofread academic coursework for non-British students.
I do not have a car, but I am happy to travel to your home for tutoring or to meet in a place that is convenient for you in Tallinn.
